We feature Leonard Bernstein’s music in the next concert as we continue our 40th anniversary season for Chamber Music Hawaiʻi.
The Honolulu Brass Quintet will be joined by virtuoso Jonathan Korth, presenting a dynamic program filled with all time favorites. Horowitzʻs theatrical Music Hall Suite and the music for brass by Pulitzer nominee George Walker complete a program you wonʻt want to miss!

FUN FACT: Together with the beloved West Side Story Suite and the Brass Music dedicated to the pet dogs in his life, the program presents the melancholic and humorous song “Story of My Life” from the musical Wonderful Town by L. BernsteinThe arrangement for trumpet and piano is by Jeff Silberschlag, dad of Zach Silberschlag – member of the Honolulu Brass Quintet. To hear the full story of this family tradition and how Jeff discovered this song, you will have to join us!
